On September 2, 2014, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank released a revised 10,000-forint note similar in design to the one it replaces, but with new lilac and gold colors and updated security features. A facing head of Hungary’s great king, St. Stephen is on the front, with the reverse offering a view of the Castle Hill of Estzergom taken from a late 19th century painting. This is the first denomination to be revised, but the bank intends to update all denominations by 2018.
Size: 154 x 70 mm
