A coin now in the Netherlands Mint Law for 350 years, the first of the three Silver Ducats of 2018 is for Flevoland, the newest province in the country.
The knight on the coin is King William III.. In 1859 he ordered an evacuation of part of the area because of flooding, and thanks to the construction that followed, the Northeast Polder is now dry land.
The coin is in a deluxe box with a certificate and background information.
